Goodness, Ung… what the hell is wrong with her??? she’s so worried about what other people think that she’s losing herself in the worst kind of ignorance. ! “I’d rather marry the most evil Thai than marry the nicest guy in the enemy’s nationality!”  I’m sorry.. but this phrase put a very bad taste in my mouth from Ung. Please redeem yourself now girlfriend!

And so it continues…  those jerks continue to spread more rumors, telling everyone that Kobori and Ung had sex multiple times. Just then, Kobori overhears the villagers as he was being led to check on his wounds.

He was very upset for Ung and wanted to help her. The doctor urges him to keep going cause his head needed to be checked badly.

Ohh lala.. look at his clenched fist.. full of veins. LOL

Ung tried to explain herself to her Mom, but her Mom reassures her that whatever those jerks say, it doesn’t make a difference as long as we know the truth. But Umg is still very bothered by it, mostly because she’s in denial.

So anyway.. while taking some foods from the headman’s house, Bua and Pone get into a fight with Mel and her parents. Those jerks keeps talking about Ung and how soon Ung will prob be pregnant. Headman and his wife hears this and wonders if it’s true?

at the hospital, Kobori asked the other doctor to send a letter to his Uncle Asap. Meanwhile.. at the market, villagers make comments about how Orn and her Mom shouldn’t have to sell veggies at the market anymore cause they are about to have to have a good life cause Ung hooked up with a Japanese.

Orn and granny tries to ignore those comments but they are getting pretty out of hand! Meanwhile.. headman comes to Ung’s house to seek the truth. And that’s where Ung tells him that nothing happened at all.

Orn explains to Ung that the same thing happened to her a long time ago but nothing is as painful as when her dad left them. And that Ung shouldn’t worry about rumors!

Meanwhile.. the thai police raids the freedom thai movement to work against the Japanese. They were sure they would catch Khun Luang, Ung’s dad, but he escaped by boat.

Ung goes to the farm.. she sees the ditch that her and Kobori hid in from the bombs. As she was just leaving, she sees Kobori standing at the tree and tries to sneak away.

“you always try to hide when you see me? you haven’t came out for so long… unless you forgot me?”

“of course I remember .. how can I forget the person who troubles me and give me nothing but troubles??”

“I’m sorry for all that’s happened.. I didn’t mean to cause any of this. I’m very sorry.. tell me, how can I undo this???”

“Nothing!”

“there must be something!”

“gather the villagers and tell them the truth… ”

“you know that will do nothing… I know how much this is ruining your reputation and pride… and so.. me and doctor Yoshi spoke and found ways to solve this… and what I think should happen is…. I should marry you… ”

Ung gasps and her face turns cold.

“my uncle knows about this and will do everything to honor your dignity. you got anything you want to say??” Kobori questions her and tries to grab her.

“I don’t love you!!!! I never love you!”

“I know that… but.. what can we do to end this??”

“you l;eave!!! leave!!! go home!!!!”

“if I leave it will not help you.. just your satisfaction of hating me.. but for me, I will hurt knowing that I left you to face this alone.. I will not let this happen!”

Ung refuses to accept his proposal expressing that different nationalities shouldn’t marry!

“we are all humans…. we have right to love whomever.. ”

“I rather marry a really ebil Thai than marry someone from the enemy’s nationality!!!” she snapped at him.

He grabs her arm but she pulls away.

Ung goes home and to her surprise, she sees headman and the Japanese doctor/teacher at her house. she rushes in to ask her Mom what the hell happened.

Her mom explains to Ung that the elders agreed that she and Kobori should marry to protect her from being the talk of the town. Ung is furious and urges her mom to say No way that she doesn’t want to marry Kobori!!!

Mom explains to her that elders thinks its the best plus Kobori is a nice guy who is their friend.

“I hate him!! I hate him! I don’t love him!” Ung snaps and tries to go settle things.

Her Mom tells Ung that it’s not definite yet , they will speak to her father first! (okay if you don’t want to marry him, good!! I will marry him!!! Shoot. lol)

later that night, Ung thinks of Kobori and their kiss.. She knows she loves him too, but she denies it cause her pride is bigger than her heart. Meanwhile… Kobori drives his boat to her house and looks thru the window.

He is lovesick and thinks of the moment when she denies him and insults him not wanting to marry the enemy. He thinks of the time when she says she doesn’t love him!!!

What was thought to be a small issue to solve Ung’s ordeal turns into a big political movement.

The Thai military and Japanese Military announces that they will join forces and ease tension between the two sides by communion. A Japanese soldier and Thai woman will marry! this shows that Japanese and Thai can be allies.

Ung’s dad was under watchful eye, but now that his daughter is marrying a Japanese. He might be out of the woods. The Thai police suspected him to be a rebel.

Ung is mortified to read the news paper and see that her problem turned political! Khun Liuang visits her and Orn to talk about what’s going on.

Khun Luang tells Orn to have Ung agree to engage to Kobori for now. Once the war ends and things blow over, they can refuse to marry. Back at his house, the thai police pay him a visit to congratulate him. By the way the police spoke, he knew that the police was suspicious of him.

His bitchy new wife warns him that Ung better agree to marry the Japanese so that people will see that he has a Japanese son in law and will stop suspecting him as a rebel!

Meanwhile.. the POW sees the news paper and recognized Khun Luang. He tells Bua and Pone that this is the guy that can help him cause that’s the guy that’s been working with the freedom side!

later that night.. Ung was sitting alone on her porch… then Kobori approaches her. He apologizes for what happened. He tells her that his intention was to help her and no way did he thought that it would turn political.

Ung is cold to him and refuses to accept his apology and thinks that this was what he wanted.

Kobori tried to tell her his real reason for his proposal..  to help her and because he loves her!!!

Ung tries to get away. He grabs her and hug her from behind.

“hireko…” he utters over and over and kiss her temple.

“I hate you… ” she utters back.

Her words stabbed like a knife.. so he lefts her go.

“I hate you… you heard? once I marry you… I will still hate you… and once I have a child, I will teach that child to hate you. I will teach that child hatred more than love..  the power you think you have I will not give you.. and you will see how it feels!!”

Kobori grabs her and forces a kiss!!!

“I hate you!” she pulls away and slaps him more.

Kobori was heated and hot.. he grabs her again and forces more kisses.

she struggles to get loose. and then scratches him on his old wound!

Ung realized what she did.. “are… you okay?”

“it’s my fault.. I did you wrong , I couldn’t control myself…  sorry…  ” he bows and leaves her.

“kobori…. ” she utters to herself.
